Want to share your content or allow your visitors to share your content with their followers across multiple social networks? Sumo social sharing apps can help you with this. Unlike ads, social shares are an organic form of promotion. Generated by the public, social shares can help you reach more online visitors across the world.

Unlike ads, social shares resonate well with users. Simply put, when your posts get shared by your visitors, it has the potential of a domino effect among a new audience. What you need to know is that with Sumo social share buttons, you can choose where to place them on your page.

You can add them to the left side of the window, at the start or end of your article.

On-site analytics apps

Want to know where visitors are clicking on your website or blog? Want to know what devices or country your visitors are from? Sumo On-site analytics apps provide data which can help you optimize your blog to attract more subscribers.

Sumo offers the following on-site analytic apps:

  • Google Analytics
  • Content Analytics
  • Heat Maps

For Google Analytics, the app will mirror data available from your Google Analytics account. When it comes to content analytics, data provided reveals how many people read your content. Data gets displayed as colored scroll maps.

You also have heat maps. They reveal how many of your visitors are clicking your websites and pages visited.

Welcome Mat

A welcome mat or landing page is a single web page that appears after your visitors click on a search engine optimized search result. It also shows after users click on a marketing promotion or an online ad.

A poorly designed landing page will force the visitor to visit another website. But, a well-designed landing page increases conversion for your email marketing campaigns. This is what Sumo Welcome Mat does for your blog.

These are the features available to you:

  • Welcome mat – displays a webpage with email collection field after your site loads
  • Welcome mat embedded – displays webpage with an email collection field that you can embed in your articles
  • Welcome mat parallax – email opt-in form will show on user scroll in the middle of the content

    Hey Ed,

Awesome review! Sumo is really a great tool, they gave me a good number of plugins for free, and with these tools I was able to equip my website with tools to generate traffic from social media, increase my email list and analyse my current user engagement. I’ve been using it for more than one year and I am really loving it.

Hi Ed, Sumo certainly looks very interesting and very good value for money in its Premium version. We are currently looking at different options for our site. We’ve tried and rejected MailChimp and are currently trying out ConvertKit, which is a lot better but still doesn’t do everything. It looks like Sumo offers a lot more than just email marketing and landing pages and your review certainly makes it seem tempting. Definitely something to consider, thank you for your review.

Hello Ed, I must say that this article is very helpful and informative. I am glad I found this review as I actually heard about Sumo and some of my friends telled me I should give it a try to increase my conversions. I would primarily use it to increase my subscribers and of course conversions. The free version gives many great features but I will opt-in for premium.

An active list of subscribers is something for which every email marketer is looking. I’m glad to see that SumoMe looks like it’s worth the money. It’s great that they have a free product, but I agree it can be a turn off if it comes with the company branding. What I like about SumoMe is that is appears to be pretty seamless while at the same time very effective at gaining a broad reach of clientele. I like that there are so many apps all in one. I’ll definitely check out the product further through your link here as I am an affiliate marketer who is always looking for ways to expand my reach, thank you!

Amazing… Thanks for introducing this great platform for me…I have been in search for reliable platforms that’s would help me boost traffic and convert a lot of visitors. I think my search has come to an end, because sumo has a lot if mind blowing and helpful features in it.  The fact it has a lot of programs and apps that could be worked with and still offers training and webinars is mind blowing. Thanks for this revelation.

    1. You’re welcome Willy. Good luck with your site!

Hi Ed. I have been searching for the best App with which to build popups and control email subscribing and you have shown me one that does a heck of a lot more. I was rapped when you mentioned that Sumome also makes landing pages. This is one thing that I have been struggling with for some time now so, anything that makes the process easier is a bonus for me. The only thing I’d like to know is whether or not there are any tests available on sumo to show just how it affects your web page. I have had issues lately with several plugins that slowed down my site and some even jammed it. I would love to use this plugin but I’d like to check out just what a difference there would be in site loading time. Are you able to direct me towards this information. Thanks Jim

    1. Sumo loads after your whole site loads, this should not affect site speed. Thanks for your inquiry Jim.
